The Reydon Belles were set up in July 2016 with the aim of encouraging more ladies to get out and exercise in a safe environment, riding with like-minded individuals. Many ladies are not comfortable riding alone, and some are not competent dealing with punctures or mechanical problems. It is a social group and they cycle to a cafe, have a cuppa and chat then cycle back. It is not a racing group, and they ride at a pace to suit everyone.
There is no joining fee, ladies just turn up at 9.30am (winter) at the Randolph Hotel, Reydon. Diane Mayhew leads the rides on 2nd and 4th Sundays each month. All the rides are planned by her, with route maps posted via their Whatsapp Group and the Reydon Village website.
