The village hall is located in the centre of the village and, together with the adjacent playing field, is administered by Westhall Community Council. The land was donated for the benefit of the parish in the 1960s and is owned by a charity, Westhall Village Hall & Playing Field, no. 304834. The trustees are members of Westhall Community Council, which is responsible for all matters relating to the maintenance and administration of the premises.
The costs of running and maintaining the village hall and playing field are met by hire charges, fundraising, donations and grant funding. Westhall Community Council does not receive any regular funding from the parish, district or county councils or the government.
The village hall and playing field are available for hire. Hire charges for the village hall range from £6.50 to £11 per hour, with a minimum charge of £10 for any booking.
Other charges (i.e. for hiring the playing field) are available upon request.
